Many of us want to discover something new, explore the unknown, and experience true meaning.

We want to go outside and connect to the depth and mystery held in this most ancient of places, where hidden treasures await and forgotten wisdom longs to be revealed.

Wisdom kept secret in a specific time and place, as it relates to its month and tribe.

The tribe of Asher is calling you into the Galil forests on a journey that will guide you to a new understanding of Shevat, while the land of Asher tells you her story.

Hike. learn.encounter

We get together once a month for a meeting on the ancient estates of the tribes of Israel.
Our trips on to these tribal lands are based on the deep knowledge transmitted from our ancestors and the principles of Jewish morality, which is our heritage, as well as practical tools for our modern lives.

" מֵֽאָשֵׁ֖ר שְׁמֵנָ֣ה לַחְמ֑וֹ וְה֥וּא יִתֵּ֖ן מַֽעֲדַנֵּי־מֶֽלֶךְ׃"

בראשית מ"ט, כ

Shevat the month of awakening and flow. During this deep winter month, despite the tree’s appearance as being “dead”, deep within the trees the sap once again begins to flow. In the land of Israel, the flowers are beginning to blossom. Trees are are beginning to regrow their leaves. It is a month of connecting to the rest of the world through the physical. The sense of the month is ‘taste’, of eating. The body part of the month is the throat. On Tu Bishvat, the birthday of the trees that is celebrated during this month we ceremoniously eat the various types of fruit which helps us reconnect and interalize and connection to the physical. During this month Moshe gave his dying speech, reviewing all of the Torah. During this month he also translated the Torah into the 70 languages of the world , teaching us that it is a time to connect to the entire world.
