“Biniamin is a wolf that will devour”. This is Yaakov’s blessing to Biniamin. Wolves are somewhat lonely; they don’t get along with other animals, and they hunt silently and patiently. There were times that Biniamin was lonely, unnoticed and, at worst, was almost extinguished from the Jewish people. But at the end, he was the one who succeeded in beating the longtime enemy of Israel: Amalek. Yaakov’s blessing was fulfilled with King Shaul and Mordechay HaTzadik.
The tribe of Binyamin is calling you into the Jerusalem mountains, on a journey that will guide you to a new understanding of land of Israel, while the region tells you her story.
