12 Months. 12 Tribes. 12 Walking Sessions

Many of us want to discover something new, explore the unknown, and experience true meaning.

We want to go outside and connect to the depth and mystery held in this most ancient of places, where hidden treasures await and forgotten wisdom longs to be revealed.

Wisdom kept secret in a specific time and place, as it relates to its month and tribe.

The tribe of Binyamin is calling you into the Jerusalem mountains on a journey that will guide you to a new understanding of  Kislev, while the land of Binyamin tells you her story.

Hike. learning. encounter

We get together once a month for a meeting on the ancient estates of the tribes of Israel. Our trips on to these tribal lands are based on the deep knowledge transmitted from our ancestors and the principles of Jewish morality, which is our heritage, as well as practical tools for our modern lives.

"בִּנְיָמִין֙ זְאֵ֣ב יִטְרָ֔ף בַּבֹּ֖קֶר יֹ֣אכַל עַ֑ד וְלָעֶ֖רֶב יְחַלֵּ֥ק שָׁלָֽל"

בראשית מ"ט, כז

Kislev is the month of hope, of trust, of peace, of darkness, of seeing with the hidden light that is only revealed from within the darkness. It is the month of the darkest, longest nights and so, it is the month of “sleep” and dreams. For, to fall asleep one must trust. And when one sleeps in trust, one can dream. And the one who dreams has hope. And the one who hopes can truly change darkness to light and usher in the winter solstice of this month, the day upon which the nights begin to change to day. This day usually fall during the holiday of Chanuka, when the people’s hopes, dreams, and trust allowed for the miracle of a little bit of oil to last for eight days.
